Assessment
Before starting educational therapy, your child is given a FREE assessment (with a purchase of a month of educational therapy) to identify strengths and challenges. Because the foundations of academic success are reading, writing, math, and study skills, these are the foci of the assessments. Not only do we assess achievement in reading, writing, and math, we also assess your child's learning style.
Moreover, the intervention plan is developed after interviews with you, a review of work samples, and other documentation of your child's educational background. These assessments allow us to create an individualized program to develop the skills your child needs. Once educational therapy has begun, your child receives frequent assessments to ensure that your child is making good progress. The strategies used are research-based and are selected to help your child with specific challenges.
Once all of this data is compiled, we meet with parents to go over the strengths and needs of your child.

Educational Therapy Pricing
Online:
$120/hour for three 50 minute sessions per week.
$150/hour for two 50 minute sessions per week.
$200/hour for one 50 minute session per week.
At Home:
$150/hour for three 50 minute sessions per week.
$175/hour for two 50 minute sessions per week.
$240/hour for one 50 minute session per week.
Mason Educational Mentoring, LLC provides the most accurate assessments available, and they are free (with a purchase of a month of educational therapy). Prior to starting educational therapy, your child will receive a one-on-one assessment to get the most accurate results. This assessment will take between one and two hours. After the results have been compiled, a one-hour consultation will be held with you, the parent, to go over the results. These results will show your child’s strengths and areas of need.
There are three options for assessments:
Option 1: Free assessment with a parent consultation. FREE with a purchase of a twelve tutoring sessions.
Option 2: Assessment with consultation without educational therapy: $599.
Option 3: Assessment with written report* and consultation with purchase of twelve educational therapy sessions: $500.
Option 4: Assessment with written report* and consultation without educational therapy: $999.
*Written report can be brought to IEP and/or other school meetings as evidence of a student's academic needs. "If the parent obtains an independent educational evaluation at private expense, the results of the evaluation (1) Must be considered by the public agency in any decision made with respect to the provision of a [free appropriate public education] to the child." (34 C.F.R. 300.503(c).)
