WHAT DO ADVOCATES DO?
Educational Advocates represent the interests of children, in kindergarten through twelfth grade, who receive, or who are requesting, special education or 504 supports.
WHEN SHOULD YOU CONSULT WITH AN ADVOCATE?
If you feel that your child has a disability that is hindering his or her progress, and the school is providing no support or not enough support.
EDUCATIONAL ADVOCACY SERVICES AND IEP COACHING

New Clients receive a FREE 45 minute consultation

Attendance at IEP, 504, SST, and most types of meetings.

Classroom observations.

Communication with school personnel.

Behavior Intervention Plans.

Development of IEP goals.

Develop appropriate accommodations and modifications.

Phone consults.
-
Discuss what services are available at public and private schools.
-
Review placement options.
-
Referrals to outside providers, i.e. psychologists, social workers, speech therapists, psychiatrists, OT, ABA therapists, etc.

Collaboration with private therapeutic schools.

Support you through the 504 and/or IEP process.

Assist you in getting the appropriate services for your child.

Review and explain assessment results.

Review and explain paperwork.

File Reviews.

Prepare parents for meeting.

Assist in getting reimbursement for outside services.
PRICING
$125 per hour
